Assembly Bill 2841 (Chapter 807, Statutes of 2022) requires the superior court in each county to notify the Secretary of State of conservatorship orders restoring a person’s voting rights or disqualifying a person from voting. The Secretary of State is required to compare the information to the state voter rolls and provide information to county elections officials so that they can notify the individual regarding their voting rights restoration or disqualification.
Below are reports showing the number of voting rights restorations and the number of voting rights disqualifications that have been shared with county elections officials as required by Elections Code section 2214.
