For initiatives or referenda issued a title and summary on or after January 1, 2020, Elections Code section 107 states that if the circulation of petitions is paid for by a committee formed pursuant to Government Code section 82013 an Official Top Funders disclosure, or link to the disclosure, shall be included on the petition or in a separate document presented to a prospective signer of the petition. Please note: not all circulating petitions will require an Official Top Funders Disclosure statement. Official Top Funders sheets must be posted on the committee website and/or provided to the Secretary of State for posting on its website.
