Business entity (corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships) records are available on the bizfile Online portal.
Please note that the System Amendments showing in a business entity's history record on the Business Search relating to the statutory suspension and revivor process, including penalty notifications, are automated electronic data entries and do not have other record formats associated with the record. Information and records relating to actions taken by the California Franchise Tax Board should be directed to that separate state agency.

Bulk Order
Through bizfile Online, users have the ability to order bulk data through the BE & UCC Bulk Orders link available in the Information & Resources column. Users can uncompress and extract the data with standard software such as PKZIP, WinZip, or MacZip for use in their own systems or software for searching. Additional information is available through the "? Help" link on the side bar of the bizfile online main page at pages 132-134.
Please note that the Secretary of State does not:
- Collect ownership information for business entities and would not have records of this information.
