CA Secretary of State Weber Releases Notice to Candidates Running in the November 5, 2024, General Election

Sacramento, Calif. – Pursuant to state law, California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D. has notified each candidate for partisan and voter-nominated offices of the list of candidates she is scheduled to certify to county elections officials on August 29, 2024.

The notice includes a list of each federal and state offices, and the names, addresses, occupations, and party preferences of all candidates nominated and entitled to receive votes at the November 5, 2024, General Election.

Prior to certification of the list of candidates on August 29, 2024, candidates can seek a writ in the Sacramento County Superior Court to amend the information contained on the list.
