Secretary of State Alex Padilla Celebrates Opening of Vote Centers by Casting his Ballot in Los Angeles County
MISSION HILLS, CA – Secretary of State Alex Padilla is celebrating the opening of Vote Centers in Los Angeles County by voting in person on Saturday, February 22, 2020. The Secretary will vote at Laborers Local 300, located at 14800 Devonshire St, Mission Hills, CA 91345.
Vote Centers begin opening in all 15 Voter’s Choice Act counties beginning Saturday, February 22. Voters can drop off their vote-by-mail ballot, vote in-person, complete Same Day Voter Registration, and use accessible vote machines at any Vote Center in their county.
Secretary Padilla is encouraging all Californians to vote early if possible. A record 20.5 million Californians are registered to vote and a record voter turnout is expected in 2020. As a result, Election Day wait times may be longer than normal.
California voters can find an early voting location in their county at CAEarlyVoting.sos.ca.gov.
