Secretary of State Alex Padilla Statement on the Passing of Ellen Tauscher 

SACRAMENTO, CA – California Secretary of State Alex Padilla issued the following statement on the passing of former US Representative Ellen Tauscher.

"Ellen Tauscher was a pioneer whose impact was felt far beyond her Bay Area home. Throughout the course of her career, she reached the highest levels of the financial industry, the political arena, and the public service sector while remaining principled, kind, and generous. Angela and I send our deepest condolences to her family and friends."
