Secretary of State Alex Padilla Statement on new DMV Reinvention Strike Team
SACRAMENTO - Today Governor Gavin Newsom announced the formation of a new Department of Motor Vehicles Reinvention Strike Team to be headed by California Government Operations Agency Secretary Marybel Batjer. Secretary of State Alex Padilla issued the following statement in response.
“I applaud Governor Newsom for making leadership change at the DMV a top priority, and creating a new DMV Reinvention Strike Team during his first week in office. I look forward to working with the new administration in any way to strengthen voter registration at the DMV.”
