Secretary of State Alex Padilla to Address Swearing-In Ceremony for Jesse Gabriel, Valley's Newest Assemblymember
SAN FERNANDO VALLEY - California Secretary of State Alex Padilla will deliver an address to mark the community swearing-in of Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel, a constitutional rights attorney who was recently elected to the State Legislature. The event will include a service project in partnership with LA Family Housing, during which participants will pack 600 outreach kits with essential hygiene products for people experiencing homelessness.
The ceremony will also showcase performances by local students and artists. Other confirmed speakers include Mayor Eric Garcetti, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon, and Congressman Brad Sherman.
