Secretary of State Alex Padilla Statement on the Passing of Mayor Ed Lee

SACRAMENTO – California Secretary of State Alex Padilla released the following statement regarding the sudden passing of San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee: 

"Mayor Ed Lee was a relentless public servant, a champion of progress, and a truly wonderful human being and friend. His passing is beyond saddening. Angela and I send our deepest condolences to his wife Anita, his family and to the people of San Francisco."
