Secretary of State Alex Padilla Statement on Passing of John Van de Kamp

SACRAMENTO, CA - Secretary of State Alex Padilla issued the following statement following the death of former California Attorney General John Van de Kamp.

“California has lost a tremendous public servant with the passing of John Van de Kamp. His service to Los Angeles and the State of California left a lasting legacy in the areas of law enforcement and public safety and earned him wide respect. My thoughts are with his wife Andrea and the entire Van de Kamp family.”
