Secretary of State’s Office to Conduct Randomized

Alphabet Drawing for Assembly District 31 Special Primary Election

WHAT:

Secretary of State Alex Padilla’s office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates’ names will appear on the April 5, 2016, Assembly District 31 Special Primary Election ballot. 

The Assembly District 31 special primary election is being held to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Assemblymember Henry T. Perea. 

The candidate filing deadline for this election is February 11. 

Candidates, members of the media, and the public are invited to observe the drawing.
