Secretary of State Alex Padilla to Visit Salinas High School
Secretary of State Alex Padilla celebrates High School Voter Education Weeks (September 14 – 25) with a visit to Salinas High School on September 24. More than 500 students will be on hand as Secretary Padilla discusses the importance of voter registration and the role young people can play in shaping the future through civic participation. The Monterey County Elections Department will bring voting booths, voter registration cards, and other elections materials for students. Student volunteers will also engage in a peer-to-peer voter registration drive.
