Secretary of State's Office to Conduct Randomized Alphabet Drawing for Senate District 23 Special Election

WHAT:

Secretary of State Debra Bowen's office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates' names will appear on the March 25 special primary election ballots and, if necessary, the June 3 special runoff election ballots in the 23rd Senate District.

The Senate District 23 special election is being held to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Bill Emmerson.

The candidate filing deadline for this contest is January 31.
