Secretary of State's Office to Conduct Randomized
Alphabet Drawing for Assembly District 54 Special Election

WHAT:: Secretary of State Debra Bowen's office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates' names will appear on the December 3 special primary election ballots and, if necessary, the February 4, 2014, special runoff election ballots in the 54th Assembly District.; The Assembly District 54 special election is being held to fill the vacancy left by Holly Mitchell, who resigned after being elected to the State Senate.; The candidate filing deadline for this contest is October 11.
