Secretary of State's Office to Conduct Randomized
Alphabet Drawing for Assembly District 52 Special Election

WHAT:: Secretary of State Debra Bowen's office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates' names will appear on the July 23 special primary election ballots and, if necessary, the September 24 special run-off election ballots in the 52nd Assembly District.; The Assembly District 52 special election is being held to fill the vacancy left by Norma Torres, who resigned after being elected to the State Senate.; The candidate filing deadline for this contest is May 31.
