Secretary of State's Office to Conduct Randomized
Alphabet Drawing for Assembly District 80 Special Election

WHAT:: Secretary of State Debra Bowen's office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates' names will appear on the May 21 special primary election ballots and, if necessary, the July 30 special run-off election ballots in the 80th Assembly District.; The Assembly District 80 special election is being held to fill the vacancy left by Ben Hueso, who resigned after being elected to the State Senate.; The candidate filing deadline for this contest is March 29.
