Secretary of State's Office to Conduct Randomized
Alphabet Drawing for Senate District 4 Special Election

WHAT:: Secretary of State Debra Bowen's office will hold a randomized alphabet drawing to determine the order in which candidates' names will appear on the November 6 special primary election ballots and, if necessary, the January 8, 2013, special run-off election ballots in the 4th Senate District.; The Senate District 4 special election is being held to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Doug LaMalfa.; The candidate filing deadline for this contest is September 12.; Candidates, members of the media and the public are invited to observe the drawing.
