		The Secretary of State's office is in the process of amending regulations relating to special handling fees; expedited filing of documents; and file dates.

		Effective January 1, 2008, several changes take effect relating to various filings made and business conducted with the Business Programs Division. Please refer to the 2007 Legislative Summary web page for more information.

		ATTENTION UCC CUSTOMERS: We have temporarily disabled the capability to perform online searches and orders via UCC Connect. In order to prevent identity theft and protect the personal privacy of people whose information appears in documents filed with the Secretary of State, we are in the process of removing social security numbers from all copies and electronic images of UCC filings made available to the public. For more information, please click here. UCC filings are public records. Please do not put people at risk of identity theft by including social security numbers on any documents for filing with the Secretary of State.
